The 13 in. Planer Knives are disposable and reversible. They feature M2 laminated-tool steel construction for long-lasting sharpness. 3 reversible blades are included in each package.
The three blades are double edged and are ground with both a primary bevel and a secondary bevel close to the edge. The primary angle is 45 degrees with a secondary relief angle of 40 degrees. These blades are razor sharp and ready to go.

Another note for those changing the blades: Pay attention to the direction that you are supposed to rotate the cutter head when doing your blade change!!!! Rotate it toward you if you are standing on the switch side of the machine. If you rotate it in the wrong direction you can end up eventually backing the motor pulley off of the shaft which will cause you some serious issues. So if you are having premature blade wear you may want to look at the health of the rest of your planer parts, specifically the motor bearings.

Wasn't to sure if it would fit but it worked out good will probably get more for cutting wood working putting on table top
I purchased the cutter head for my dewalt planer. I can’t say enough good about this product. This turned my planer in to a completely different machine. If you’re on the fence about the cost I am here to say it is well worth the money. Turned an hour long job into a 10 minut job. I put it off for a long time and now I regret not doing it sooner.
Wasn’t good booklet but YouTube was great. Once installed was the awesome bit it’s absolutely amazing so quiet and a wonderful finish on the results. Well worth it.
I was hesitant spending this amount without knowing if the reviews were true to their word. Fortunately my machining background in cutting tools helped make the decision to go ahead. No regrets! This tool exceeded my expectation. It cuts much quieter, cuts much smoother, less load on the machine allows for a deeper cut. This is a worth while tool.

Had to trim width to fit the 20mm pulley wheel which wasn’t a problem and to be expected. Fitted tyre after soaking in hot water, clamping and using wooden dowel to ease the tyre on with some stretching. Plenty of advice online. Fits perfectly and does the job! Seems of good quality but time will tell and urethane should last. Very pleased with the product so far.

We have tried multiple times to make them work and they do not. It has also been 4 days since your last communication and 9 since I have requested the return."

It worked great! It cut straight and clean on a piece of 1 1/4" heavy DOM. Went nice a smooth with no heating of the part. For the money, this is a good deal.
If you need an everyday construction site set of blades, look no further than these. I cut approximately 30 brace blocks from 2x4s for a deck. One blade did 60 cuts like the first cut. I even did a one vertical cut on a 2x8 at the end. All were done on pressure treated lumber, I’m impressed. Can’t beat the price and I will be ordering more. 6/12 tpi for those who want to know.
These work like any other blade that I have purchased. I have not necessarily found any great difference between the most expensive brands and the lower priced brands since I tend to challenge the blade with all types of materials. I would lump this in the mix and buy these based upon the price. At a dollar and a half, for each blade, these are on the very affordable side of what is available. I have sometimes used long metal blades for demolition if I have a large amount of metal embedded (could be conduit, etc.).
I don't often review but I have gone through many planer blade sets for this planer. I'm very glad there is an exact fit replacement as it seems Dewalt has stopped selling blade replacements. These seem to be an exact fit. All dimensions are exact except they are consistently .02 grams heavier and there's no pyramid stamp. I only did the weight because I could not find discrepancies (LxWxHxT). I read a review that they are not as good as the original, don't last as long. May be slightly softer material, IDK...TBD. I will get back to you on this.For now I am giving it 5 stars. I'm on my 9th double pack of blades from Dewalt. That's 4 blade sets per double pack. 36 blade changes. Excellent planer. FOXBC 9 Inch 6/12 TPI Demolition Reciprocating Saw Blades for Nail-Embedded Wood, Bi-Metal, 25-Pack with Case --- Received 25 blades as advertised. Haven’t had occasion to use one yet but they are thinner metal, but solid and sharp. Demolition blades are usually bulkier than these. Fit easily into my Dewalt battery operated reciprocating. saw. Plastic case is adequate for keeping them together but doesn’t look like it would take much abuse.
Partial review only, as I need to put these through their paces. The blades are well formed and have no obvious flaws. No curves, errors, etc. The case could use a bit more strength, though, as both pieces of mine are cracked.
I have an old craftsman jointer that desperately needed blades. I bought these and am super happy. Swapped the old ones out and the jointer is back to life. Blades were dharp and flat which is all that's necessary. I'll buy this brand again when I need another set!

Will get dull a little faster then their heated counterparts. However for the first time in 5 sets of blade I’ve just rotated these and did not see a single chip in the blades. This usually happens with any other blades I’ve tried including original DW735 13” blades.
Im going to use these from now on only, needs to be rotated just a little more often, but at the price point they are great. If you start questioning their performance then rotate/replace and go again with a fresh cut. 5 stars!

Since I only use my planer occasionally. my original blades lasted a good 8 years. I did run a lot of wood through the planer having made a lot of shelving from both oak and pine so no complaints on the OEM set of blades.Decided to take a chance on these and was pleasantly surprised with the results. Blades cut as nicely as the original OEM set and they were a perfect fit. Probably will not be able to ever comment on longevity but for my purposes, these were a good alternative to the expensive OEM blades.I use my planer outside so I cannot comment on noise levels. As reference, the photos are from wood planed with the original OEM blades.

The blades came wrapped in several layers of packing material and a soft plastic case. They will be stored until I need to replace the ones on the Dewalt 735.
Very happy with the blades and delivery time
The FOXBC replacement blades for a Dewalt planer were well machined (no burrs or roughness), came oiled and wrapped in protective paper, and packaged in a nice protective safety container. Each blade installed easily with slots, location stud divots, and screw holes accurately placed. I honed the blades before install to lessen a very slight burr on edge of the blade. These were received in much better sharpening shape than I assumed they would be , which was a surprise ( now an expectation). Test planing was on a figured rough Walnut board; result was no striations or patterns, good even planing from several passes testing all blade width. I will buy replacement blades from FOXBC the next time I need them.

Direct fit half the price of dewalt brand cuts just like new and only took a few days to recieve except they were a day late but the weather was bad.
They are SHARP. watch you dont get cut installing them. work great, I like the fact that they came in a hard plastic case.
I purchased these blades since they were cheaper than OEM. They went on just fine with no issues whatsoever. My OEM blades were leaving groove marks in the lumber I was planing so it was time to replace them.
Removal and install was less than 20 minutes and I was back up and running. In my opinion the planer sounded much quieter and the cut quality was top notch! Smooth as glass, no groove marks, and the decibel level emitting from the planer was reduced. For this price and the fact that they’re reversible is a no brainer! Buy them!
Not sure how long they will last but they are working well especially for softer woods. Haven't tried carbide but I would like to try them especially for surfacing hard woods.

Have used for about 8 weeks now and they appear to work as well as the Dewalt OEM blades. Fit, finish are the same. I have run everything from oak, cherry, maple, black walnut, padauk and bubinga through the planner and the blades still perform good. Looks like I won't be wasting my money on over priced steel blades from Dewalt. FOXBC should consider making carbide tipped blades...

Used these to clean up old T and G oak flooring. This is old oak from back in the 50's so its very hard and dry. Didnt last quite as long as the OEM cutters but worked just fine for my needs. I was asking a lot of the planer to dress this old wood! I would definitely buy them again......in fact I did just that!
